Hilton Hotel Waco, Texas

Thanks to Uncle Will, we stayed at the Hilton, and experienced a couple firsts....

1. We stayed on the 4th floor and boarded the elevator to go have breakfast. When we walked in, two ladies came to the door, pushed in two little boys-about 4 and 6 looking- and said "just go to the lobby." The door closed. The littlest one looked at the other and cryed, "I hate your mom!" Brian and I looked at each other totalled freaked out, and grateful we were there rather than a child molester....then the elevator went up, the doors opened on the sixth floor, and the boys tried to exit. Brian stopped them so they wouldn't aimlessly wonder the hotel searching for the lobby....When we arrived at the bottom floor, a man said, "come on boys, come back up with me." We hope he was with them.
2. So we finally made it to breakfast. I always worry I haven't dressed appropriately. There was a very well endowed lady in the restaurant area wearing a black leather halter top, proudly displaying her arm tats, as well as the back piece tat that consisted of a skull and cross bones. You know how tattoos don't look like they were intended to look if the wearer gains weight? Well the skull looked like Krusty the Clown.

Merry Christmas.

Ear piercing

Pictures, as promised!

School party pics

Thankfully Brian was able to take the day off Friday to spend with the girls.Apparently forth grade parties are no where near as festive as kindergarten ones.

Lobo game pics

Well, the Lobos lost, but we had fun anyway, and even though it was 10 degrees. Well it felt like it was 10 degrees.
The back side picture is of the hillbilly I facebooked about. He had something to say about everything....so "Friday Night Lights" and terribly abnoxious. Should have laid off the schnapps.

Trip pics of Little Paris

The little madam is very flashy-even moreso now that her ears sparkle. She requires her ears be always visible, and she required(below) to pull her own bag--well pull means push to her. Too cute.

This spaceship is for sale!! I think it would make a great cabin...in the woods in Diana!!

Poor little bear

After a long trip home from Waco, eating candy all the way home....this is how she looked. Yes, that is a red extension in her hair. She misses Kamryn! 2 more days!

Ken's gift to Kam

Brian gave each of the girls $5.00 so they could buy each other a gift. Kennedy insisted on doing this right away, because Kamryn was able to buy hers early at school. Kennedy loves her sister so much. It is so sweet to see how they are with each other. Anyway, Ken HAD to wrap Kam's present all by herself, and this is it. Fabulous.

Date Night

We do "date night" at our house with the girls once a week (usually on Fridays) and did it last night since Kam is going to her dad's today. Ken has been begging to get her ears pierced, so after El Sombrero, we were off to the mall. Much to our suprise, Aunt Tiffany was there!! She sent before and after pics to Uncle Will and stood with us to watch the big event. Ken is such a brave little girl. Not a tear shed. Kam said, "Momma, I am so proud of her I almost cried." Kam is such a good little mom, and since Ken got her suprise, Kam got a new pair of boots that she has been wanting. Pics to come.....

Bringing you up to speed....

Let's see....

Kennedy had her first play date after school Monday. She went to LiLi's house for a couple hours and had a blast. Will post pics when LiLi's mom sends them...they are wonderful people.

Kamryn has decided she is Lucy's (the shit-zu) mom and I'm the grandma. She was thoroughly scolded so hopefully "Mom, you're the grandma." will never come out of her mouth again. UUUGGG....just saying it makes my skin crawl.

Lucy is doing pretty good. She is at the beauty shop as we speak. Hopefully it will lift her spirits. She seems a little down. May be because a certain litle elf won't leave her alone. Who knows.

Had a great goat wrangling, motorcycle photoshoot with Will Saturday. Will post pics later.

Granny's Christmas tree

It's that time of year. Actually it is past that time of year, but Granny's tree is up.

I thought this year to make it "All about Granny" since it is her first year by herself. She acquired tons of pink ornaments throughout the year, some very victorian ones, so here it is.....Granny's Victorian Woman Tree
