Kid's Camp-2010

Alli and Kam made a special new friend, Olivia!!

...the annual stuff-kids-in-a-balloon contest. 25 kids were in this balloon. One started to have a panic attack so they popped it. I think 35 is the record.

Camp was awesome!!! My sweet Kamryn was saved!!! She has been talking about it for a while and asking a lot of questions. I am so proud of her.

She has been wanting to talk to Mrs. Carolyn about it, but she has been out of town caring for her family for a few weeks.

I may see about her going to more than one camp next year. She loves it!!

So BT, Al, and Kam are off to camp.

BT doesn't know it yet, but he has a little surprise packed away in his bedding.
Tucked inside the folds of his comforter is a set of sheets he asked me to pack.
He doesn't know yet they are the Christmas ones with brightly colored snowmen all over them.

I'm laughing as I write!!

I can only imagine his face as he unrolls his neatly wrapped bedroll in the presence of 14 boys (3-5th grade) and a couple other sponsors. Ho Ho Ho, Babe!!!!

My prayer requests....

Please pray for my little friend Jaidan. She is back in the hospital.
Please pray for the Dugger family. My friend and classmate (LETU), Larry, committed suicide last week. His funeral was this morning. He has 2 small children.
Please pray about our house situation. I still think we have a potential buyer. They have not made an offer yet, but the showing last week went well and they drove by over the weekend.
Please pray for my BT's back. It has gotten worse.

Not me Monday

I did not peel the breading off shrimp Friday night to avoid calories so I could then eat 5 hushpuppies.
I did not get woke up at 7:30 A.M. Saturday morning to fix a pig fence.
I did not fuss and point my finger a two unsuspecting little pigs to try to convince them to stop worrying Granny.
I did not get attacked by a billy goat while trying to remedy the pig pen situation. Twice.
I did not spray purple polka dots on the billy goat for attacking me.
I did not do all these things in flip flops.
I did not wash my feet in a bucket full of stale green water because Granny locked me out of the house and set the alarm.
I did not buy my daughter cheese sticks at Sonic just so I could smell them....
I did not watch out my front door as the potential buyers drove by, again.
I do not look forward to working out today just to burn calories so I can eat something bad.
