Useless Knowledge
My new class, Human Culture and Society, is proving to be my favorite class thus far. It is making me want to be an anthropologist!
Did you know that the Bikini Islands were the sight of nuclear testing and all the natives had to be relocated to other areas? To this day the dirt on the island is still hazardous.
The Bikini was named after those islands becuase the inventor of the bikini wanted a name that was controversial.

My Graduate
Ken graduates from daycare tomorrow night and is so excited!! Friday is her last day of daycare and she thinks she gets to go directly to kindergarten.
As many of you know, I seldom even bother to wear makeup....even to work. Well, this morning in the car, Ken said, "Momma, will you wear makeup to my graduation? You look prettier when you wear it."
I get the hint.
