Mrs. Cooper, Meet Kennedy!

Kennedy was so excited to meet her teacher last night. Mrs. Cooper was so nice. Her daughter is in Kamryn's class, so she isn't a total stranger to our family. Once we left, Kennedy said, "I love my teacher because she had a cute dress and French toes." Kamryn said, "I liked her because she had cool earrings." I said, "I liked her shoes." Mrs. Cooper, as long as you are fashionable, our family will love you!

Kamryn. my big 4th grader, got Mrs. Hinton. Kam isn't as easily impressed as her sister. She refused to let me take pictures. I guess that's part of being "older". She does have pets in her class.....a corn snake and hedgehog! This should be fun....
She also doesn't think it's fair that she has to go to an "old" school and Kennedy gets the new one. Kam's campus does look much different than Kennedy's. She is on the intermidiate campus that is only 4-6 grades. This means she is the freshman of the campus.

Kennedy's Dramatic flair

This morning in the car Kennedy looked like she was about to cry. I said, "Peanut, what's wrong?" She replied in a pouty voice, "I just need Daddy's cow trailer when I grow up because I'm buying a palomino. A black one."

What was so urgent about that, I have no idea.

Beaver's Bend

Check out these deer at Beaver's bend.

Robber's Cave

We decided to go to Beaver's Bend for a little kayaking and hiking, just for it to rain almost the entire time. Saturday morning we woke up in Broken Bow to a tsunami, so decided to drive a couple hours to hopefully escape the rain and find something to do. We ended up at Robber's Cave State Park. What a great find! Kam wasn't with us so it was just Brian, Kennedy, and myself. We hiked and rock climbed. Kennedy isn't afraid of anything and has decided to be a rock climber when she grows up. Let's hope she changes her mind. If you get the chance to go there, it's worth the drive. Jesse James hid out there!
